Thomas James Doe, a 47-year-old Black man from Glennville, Georgia, was found shot to death on the night of September 22, 2021, inside a home on the 200 block of Bull Street. The case entered public view in the hard, sudden way these stories often do: deputies were sent to the house at about 9:21 to 9:30 p.m., and when they got there, Doe was already dead from gunshot wounds.
