In the late winter of 2024, the life of 65-year-old Lewis Cherry was tragically cut short in a violent encounter in South Fulton, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. On the afternoon of Friday, February 23rd, police were called to the Freedom Park Apartments on Delano Road, a complex known to have persistent issues with crime. There, they discovered Mr. Cherry suffering from a gunshot wound.
