In a tragic turn of events on a Monday evening in Atlanta, a dispute between drivers escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 62-year-old Remoin Thomas Patton Sr. The incident, which unfolded on June 16, 2025, began as a verbal altercation while Patton was attempting to make a turn on Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW. The argument took a deadly turn when the other driver produced a firearm and shot Patton in the back.
