Mezaio Pickett, a 26-year-old African American male from Atlanta, GA, was tragically killed on May 8, 2017. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Carrabba's restaurant on Cumberland Boulevard in Cobb County. Pickett had arranged to meet with individuals to purchase shoes through an online transaction. Unfortunately, the meeting turned deadly when the sellers attempted to rob him.
