In the Atlanta suburb of East Point, on the evening of March 6, 2022, the life of 31-year-old Tamunomiete 'Kevin' Jim-Lawson, an African American man, was tragically cut short by gun violence. The fatal encounter occurred at a recording studio located at 1337 Cleveland Avenue, where Jim-Lawson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a man known for his infectious smile and his dedication to those he cared for, a beloved figure in his community.
