In the early morning hours of September 2, 2021, a visit to Atlanta, Georgia, turned tragic for 32-year-old Ipalibo Wariboko Jr., an African American male from Miami. Known affectionately as 'Sincere Jr.' or 'Bo' to his loved ones, Wariboko was a father to an 8-year-old daughter and a cherished son and brother. His life was cut short by gun violence inside a hotel room at the Red Roof Plus and Suites on Old National Parkway in College Park.
Authorities were called to the scene around 2
a.m., where they discovered Wariboko and another man, 29-year-old Reginald Sellers, both fatally shot. The preliminary investigation into the double homicide suggested that the two men were victims of an armed robbery that may have involved narcotics. It is believed that two unidentified gunmen entered the hotel room, and after the shooting, they fled the scene. These suspects remain at large, and the investigation into the killings is ongoing, with law enforcement continuing to seek information from the public that could lead to their apprehension. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the murders.
