Scott Anthony Sartain, a 39-year-old man, was last seen on September 6, 2007, in Arlington, Texas. At the time of his disappearance, Sartain was homeless and unemployed, and he was known to travel out of state occasionally, which made it common for him to go without contact for extended periods. As a result, he was not reported missing until January 2008, when one of his associates informed the police that Sartain might have been killed.
Investigators later discovered that Sartain had likely been murdered. Witnesses reported seeing him beaten and tied up in a room behind a garage at a residence on Ridgeway Street. The suspects in the case, Kelly Munn and Alejandro Orona, were convicted for his murder despite no body being recovered. Witnesses claimed that after the assault, the men dismembered Sartain's body and disposed of it at an unknown location. They also dismantled Sartain’s vehicle and sold the parts to a scrap metal business.
Both Munn and Orona were convicted for Sartain’s murder, with Munn receiving a 99-year sentence and Orona a life sentence. Despite these convictions, Sartain's body has never been found, and the case remains classified as an unresolved missing person.Last Seen: Sep 6, 2007
