Amere McGahey, a 23-year-old resident of Decatur, Georgia, lost his life to gun violence on March 21, 2024.

The incident occurred at The Clarion Apartments on Rimington Lane, just off DeKalb Industrial Way in DeKalb County. The shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. on Thursday, March 21. Police found Amere McGahey dead from multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.
