Derricor Jaquan Jenkins, a 23-year-old African American male from Decatur, Georgia, tragically lost his life on December 27, 2021. Derricor, who was hearing impaired, was found shot to death near Boring Road in Decatur, just over a mile from his family's home. On the night of his death, Derricor was wearing a sweatshirt and pajama pants, and he was discovered with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
