Dereon Durell Hambrick, 30, a Black male, was found fatally wounded outside his home at the Rockwell Pointe Apartments in the Decatur area late on April 18, 2025. According to police and a FOX 5 Atlanta report, doorbell-camera footage captured a confrontation in the parking lot around 10:30 p.m., during which a group of people surrounded Hambrick before shots were fired.
