On January 16, 2024, a deadly double shooting occurred at the DeKalb County Food Mart located on Flat Shoals Road in Decatur, Georgia. The incident resulted in the death of 32-year-old Jimmy Harris and left another victim, 24-year-old Traevion Scott, injured.
