In the pre-dawn hours of July 22, 2024, a U.S. Navy Reservist's life was tragically cut short in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Christopher Estrada-Petersen, a 25-year-old Black or African American male, was found shot to death at a BP gas station located at the corner of Rockbridge and Hambrick roads. DeKalb County police responded to a call about the shooting at approximately 5 a.m. and discovered his body at the scene.
