On July 22, 2024, Christopher Jerome Estrada-Petersen, a 25-year-old African American male from Hampton, Georgia, was fatally shot at a BP gas station located at 4420 Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The incident occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m., and upon arrival, DeKalb County police officers found him deceased at the scene.
