In the early morning hours, a domestic dispute in a residential area of Stone Mountain, Georgia, escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving 48-year-old Terrance Kinard dead from at least one gunshot wound. The incident, which unfolded around 7:50 a.m. on Salem Drive, prompted a response from Gwinnett County police officers who arrived to find Kinard's body.
Investigators have characterized the shooting as a domestic-related incident, indicating that Kinard and the individual involved knew each other. While the exact nature of their relationship has not been publicly disclosed, authorities believe a possible argument between the two men preceded the deadly shooting.
In connection with the death of the male victim, police detained one man who is believed to be the shooter.
