On July 28, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Hawkinsville, Georgia, resulting in the death of 17-year-old Levarius Ke’Shay Madrad Ates from Eastman. The incident took place at approximately 1:15 a.m. on MLK Jr. Boulevard, where a block party was underway with an extremely large crowd present.
