On July 8, 2020, William Whitehead, a 39-year-old male from Hawkinsville, Georgia, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at his home. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) reported that the incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. on Jelks Street. According to the investigation, Whitehead and his family were at their residence when 32-year-old Tyree Williams entered the home and shot Whitehead in the back of the head.
