On August 27, 2024, Brian Jeffrey Haynes, a 56-year-old resident of Rome, Georgia, was found dead inside a vehicle in the 300 block of Reynolds Street. The Rome Police responded to the scene at approximately 3:51 p.m. and discovered Haynes with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
