On the evening of Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the vibrant sounds of Washington, D.C. were tragically interrupted by gunfire. In the 1400 block of V Street, Northwest, a shooting incident unfolded at approximately 9:28 p.m. that would cut short the life of 29-year-old Marvin Johnson, Jr. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Johnson suffering from gunshot wounds.
