In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Washington, D.C., a young man's life was tragically cut short. Vaughn Dozier Jr., a 21-year-old Black male from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was fatally shot on June 19, 2024. The incident occurred at approximately 11:25 p.m. in the 900 block of S Street, Northwest.
