In the late afternoon of a summer Sunday in Washington, D.C., a call reporting a shooting brought police to an apartment on Stanton Road in the Southeast quadrant of the city. Inside, they discovered the body of 27-year-old Stephon Clemmons, a male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The tragic discovery was made on July 21, 2024, shortly before 3 p.m.
