On Sunday, July 28, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Southeast Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of 44-year-old Bobby Addison. The incident took place at approximately 2:43 p.m. in the 3200 block of 28th Street, Southeast. When D.C. Metro Police responded to reports of gunfire, they found Addison unconscious and not breathing, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
