In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 15, 2024, a life was tragically cut short in an alley in Northeast Washington, D.C. James Price, a 44-year-old man with no fixed address, was discovered unconscious in the 400 block of 50th Street, Northeast, just before 8:30 a.m. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Price suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and EMS, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
