In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 28, 2024, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the predawn quiet in the 2700 block of Langston Place, Southeast, in Washington, D.C. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene around 2:18 a.m., they discovered a chaotic and tragic scene.
