In the pre-dawn hours of a Thursday morning in Northeast Washington, the quiet of the 900 block of 10th Street NE was shattered by the sound of gunshots. On that day, September 29, 2016, a man's life was tragically cut short. Responding to a call at approximately 3:54 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived at a grim scene.
