On April 22, 2024, Valondia Norris, a 43-year-old woman from Jacksonville, Florida, was found shot to death in the parking lot of the Gregory Cove Apartments, located at 5601 Edenfield Road in the Arlington area of Jacksonville.

The incident was reported to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) after several residents of the apartment complex called in to report hearing gunshots. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Norris suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the ...
