Aleksandra Micic, a 17-year-old girl from Jacksonville, FL, was found dead on May 29, 2020, in an abandoned apartment complex on West 6th Street. Her body was discovered by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, who were in the area for training when they noticed smoke coming from the building. Upon extinguishing the fire, they found Aleksandra's body inside. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) quickly classified her death as a homicide, suspecting foul play.
