On July 8, 2024, a drive-by shooting occurred in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, near the 800 block of Northwest 10th Terrace. This incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals, including 45-year-old Sheldon Lawrence of Fort Lauderdale. Lawrence was one of the adults who suffered gunshot wounds and later died at a local hospital due to his injuries.
