On November 28, 2024, Thanksgiving Day, 71-year-old grandfather Hureleyon McLean was fatally shot in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, following a dispute with his neighbor over loud music. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on Somerset Drive, where McLean resided with his wife, Rose.
