On July 17, 2023, Carolyn Diane “Dee” Williams, a 64-year-old resident of Hartford, Connecticut, was fatally shot in a domestic incident. The incident occurred at a home on the 100 block of Oakland Terrace in Hartford. Police responded to a 911 call at 8:09 p.m. reporting a domestic incident and found Williams' son, who had been pistol-whipped by the suspect, on the porch with a head injury.
