In the winter chill of a Friday evening in Hartford, Connecticut, the life of Dominique Lino, a 36-year-old Black / African American man, was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On January 19, 2024, Lino was outside a convenience store on Capen Street when he was fatally shot.
