Lucille Ruibal Rivera, a 70-year-old Chicana woman, was a well-respected and pivotal leader in the Colorado Latino community, known for her significant contributions to both healthcare and the arts. A co-founder of the Tepeyac Community Health Center and the vice-chair of the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council, her life was tragically cut short on November 18, 2023, in a violent act that stunned those who knew her.
