In the early morning hours of January 23, 2024, the life of 32-year-old Jacob Morfenski, a white male from Colorado Springs, Colorado, was tragically cut short. Responding to a call of a shooting at approximately 12:49 AM, officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department arrived at the 3900 block of North Academy Boulevard to a grim scene.
