In the late hours of a spring Saturday, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the night in the 1900 block of Poplar Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas. On that evening of April 29, 2023, a young life was tragically cut short. Davonn Russell Maurice Jordan, a 21-year-old male, was found by North Little Rock Police officers who had responded to the calls just before 11:00 p.m. He was suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
