On the evening of Thursday, April 18, 2024, the life of 29-year-old Deonte Lambert of Little Rock was cut short in a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in North Little Rock, Arkansas. North Little Rock Police Department officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 1700 block of Locust Street at approximately 8:33 p.m.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Deonte Lambert suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Despite any efforts to render aid, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the shooting was immediately initiated by the North Little Rock Police Department.
In the days following the shooting, authorities announced that an arrest had been made in connection with the murder of Deonte Lambert.
