In the late evening hours of June 13, 2023, the city of Clarksburg, West Virginia, was rattled by an act of violence that claimed the life of 46-year-old David Matthew Mazza. A White male, Mazza was in the North View neighborhood of the city, near Hamill Avenue, when he was fatally shot.
