Mark Steven Wirth, a 67-year-old White/Caucasian male, died on May 6, 2024, after a shooting in Elkins, West Virginia. The violence unfolded at the Heavner Acres Trailer Court, where police said officers were called to the scene for a reported shooting during the afternoon. When emergency responders arrived, Wirth was found on the porch of a residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Randolph County EMS transported him to Davis Medical Center, but he later died from his injury.
