On May 30, 2024, a violent incident occurred in Murray City, Utah, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Abdiaziz Abdirahman and injuries to several others. The incident was a drive-by shooting that took place near the intersection of Fireclay Avenue and Birkhill Boulevard, close to the Murray North Station of TRAX.
