In the early morning hours of New Year's Day 2023, the life of Randy Ronald Weimerskirch, a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male from Clinton, Iowa, was tragically cut short. At approximately 2:11 a.m. on January 1st, Clinton Police officers were dispatched to 420 Glenwood Place following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Weimerskirch inside with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to MercyOne Clinton Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
