Murdered

William Terry, a 47-year-old former associate principal at Marshalltown Schools, was found dead on July 22, 2021. He was identified by police in Ames, Iowa, as the individual who had taken his own life.

At the time of his death, Terry was the subject of a sexual exploitation investigation. This investigation was ongoing, and it appears that the circumstances surrounding the investigation may have contributed to his decision to end his life.
