In the summer of 2021, the life of William E. Terry, a 47-year-old Black / African American man, came to a tragic end in his Ames, Iowa, home. On July 22, his death unfolded amidst a serious criminal investigation. Terry was a former associate principal at Marshalltown High School, a position he had held during the 2020-2021 school year.
