Andrew Lee Hall Sr., a 46-year-old resident of Des Moines, Iowa, succumbed to his injuries on December 26, 2021, nearly three weeks after being shot.

The incident occurred on December 2, 2021, when Hall was shot outside a bar in Des Moines. The shooting was a result of Hall's attempt to intervene in a confrontation. The perpetrator, identified as 17-year-old Drake Russell Armstrong, shot Hall in the stomach during this altercation.
