On the night of July 17, 2022, the city of Clinton, Iowa, was rocked by a sudden act of violence that claimed the life of 43-year-old Antoine Sampson, a Black/African American male. Just before 11 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of 5th Avenue South and South 5th Street.
