In the predawn hours of May 12, 2023, the life of 18-year-old Black male Adrian Grover was tragically cut short in Fort Dodge, Iowa. A report of a shooting at the intersection of 10th Avenue Southwest and 10th Street Southwest in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood came in just before 3 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Grover unresponsive on the ground. Despite immediate medical attention, he was later pronounced dead.
