On a violent Sunday evening in Baltimore, Saequan Newton, a 28-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on February 23, 2025. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Potee Street, where police, drawn by the sound of gunfire, discovered Mr. Newton with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
