In the late hours of October 18, 2024, a verbal dispute among acquaintances in west Phoenix escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 25-year-old Andrue Abraham Encizo, a Hispanic/Latino male. The incident occurred at a residence near 86th Avenue and Minnezona Avenue, where police responded to a 'shots fired' call around 7:05 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered one man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound who was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.
