On a tragic summer day in Hackettstown, New Jersey, 14-year-old David Galvin's life was cut short in a sudden act of violence. It was August 26, 1977, when a gunman, later identified as 20-year-old Emile Benoist, began a shooting rampage along the railroad tracks that ran through the quiet town.
