In the spring of 2017, a life was abruptly cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. Mario Ramos, a 42-year-old man, was fatally shot on May 11, 2017. The incident that claimed his life unfolded in the restroom of a QuikTrip convenience store, a place of transient comings and goings that became the final backdrop to a permanent and tragic event.
