In the late hours of a summer night in Glendale, Arizona, a routine chore turned tragic for Robert Jacobson. Between 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017, and 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017, Jacobson was at a car wash situated in the area of 59th Avenue and Missouri Avenue. As he was tending to his vehicle in one of the vacuuming stalls, an unknown individual or individuals fatally shot him.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and authorities have not publicly
identified a motive or any suspects in the case. Following the incident, Glendale police detectives began an investigation, seeking any information from the public that might lead to an arrest. They believe it is possible that someone in the vicinity of the car wash may have witnessed something crucial to solving the crime.
