On July 7, 2017, Robert Jacobson, a 57-year-old resident of Glendale, Arizona, was fatally shot while cleaning his car at a Weiss Guys Express Car Wash located near the intersection of 59th Avenue and Missouri Avenue. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when Jacobson was vacuuming his vehicle.
