In the winter of 2014, a quiet residential street in Glendale, Arizona, became the scene of a sudden and violent crime that claimed the life of 53-year-old Pedro Rivero-Fernandez. On the evening of December 7th, an unknown individual or individuals approached Rivero-Fernandez's home in the 4500 block of West Carol Avenue. A knock at the door prompted Rivero-Fernandez to answer, an everyday act that tragically led to his untimely death.
