Rene Cooksey, a 56-year-old woman, was fatally shot on December 17, 2017, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was killed along with her husband, Edward Nunn, 54, who was her stepfather to their son, Cleophus Cooksey Jr. The incident occurred at their apartment near 12th Street and Highland Avenue in central Phoenix.
