In a Glendale, Arizona apartment on the evening of February 1, 2018, a distressing 911 call was made by a woman reporting that her ex-boyfriend had just shot her friend. The victim was identified as 24-year-old David Jiminez Resendiz. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the vicinity of 5700 North 59th Avenue, where Glendale patrol officers were dispatched.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered David Jiminez Resendiz inside the apartment with a gunshot wound.
Despite the efforts of the Glendale Fire Department, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The man responsible for the shooting remained at the location and was taken into custody by the police without any resistance.
The alleged shooter was identified as 26-year-old Moises Ramos, Jr., a resident of Phoenix. Based on evidence gathered at the crime scene and statements from witnesses, investigators concluded that Ramos was responsible for the shooting death of Resendiz. Subsequently, Ramos was booked on one count of first-degree murder and two counts of felony endangerment.
