In the summer of 2018, the life of 37-year-old Jason Breton came to a tragic end in Surprise, Arizona. On the night of Saturday, June 30th, or early the next morning, what began as a domestic dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion. Police were called to a neighborhood near Waddell Road and Sarival Avenue, where they discovered a grim scene. Inside a residence, Jason Breton and a woman named Christy McAdams, also 37, were both found deceased.
Initial investigations by the Surprise Police
Department quickly pointed towards a murder-suicide. It appeared that the two were involved in a domestic altercation that ultimately resulted in their deaths. Law enforcement officials did not search for any other suspects, as the evidence suggested McAdams was responsible for Breton's death before taking her own life. The case was treated as a contained incident with no further threat to the public.
Jason Lee Breton, born on November 11, 1980, was originally from Maine and had attended Gardiner School. He was employed as a truck driver for Albertson's in Surprise at the time of his death. He was a father to two daughters. Following the tragic event, no arrests were made as the sole suspect was also deceased. The investigation concluded that Jason Breton was a victim in a murder-suicide stemming from a domestic dispute.
